The 2021 Season has Ended

Hello Dodgers family and friends. I am sure you all expected this but, the decision to cancel the rest of the season has been made. In the best case scenario, there is not enough time to get the finals finished in a manner that would be safe for the players and the Dandenong Baseball Association made this difficult decision last night.

Sadly, that means we will miss out on a real strong opportunity to bring home three flags for our club. We would like to congratulate the coaches and players of the C2 Seniors Team, Women’s Team, and our U12 team on having fantastic seasons and representing our club very well. Our B1 Seniors had a challenging season and were not in contention for the finals however, they still represented the club well and we would like to say thank you.

We will be looking to hold a presentation night this side of Christmas, if the conditions allow us to. In the mean time, thank you to all of our players and coaches for making the best of a rather uncertain season. Good luck to those that play in the summer and we cannot wait to see you all soon. Please stay tuned for the end of season working bee and updates for presentation night.

training times have been set!

We are back to winter training! The women will train from today, 6 April, every Tuesday from 6:00 to 7:30 pm. The senior teams will be training on Thursdays from this Thursday, 8 April, starting at 7pm.

Get down to the club and have a hit and throw. If you’re new to the sport or have been out for a while, come down and give it a try!

The 2021 season is coming

The Berwick Dodgers are happy to announce the 2021 season is rapidly approaching. Our new field is coming along nicely and according to the grape vine, we will be able to use it this winter.

We will be announcing come-and-try/registration days soon. If you are interested in playing, please reach out to our Secretary, Jordan, and let him know. We look forward to seeing you all on the field!
