2021 AGM

The Berwick Dodgers will be hosting the Annual General Meeting via Zoom on Wednesday the 24th Of Februrary at 8pm. With Covid restrictions changing rapidly and at the will of the virus, this method will ensure we can have the meeting regardless of the situation.

It would be good to get as many people online as possible and attendance at this usually short meeting will help the club to elect an exectutive and committee so that we can begin preparations for what could, again, be an interesting winter season. Besides, now it can happen from the comfort of your own couch! To join the meeting click here. Contact Brandon or Jordan for the password to the meeting.

Hope to see you onlie, if you have any nominations for executive or committee, or would like to put in your apologies please email our current secretary Jordan

2020 Winter Season Cancelled

Hello Dodgers Nation,

I am terribly saddened to be writing today to inform everyone that the Dandenong Baseball Association, along with Baseball Victoria, have announced the winter season will not proceed and is cancelled from 6 July. The DBA has taken a hard look at the current situation and decided that the risk to our players and members is far too great.

Clubs can continue training, albeit discouraged, and some of our members may do so. As a club, we are not likely to organize training. We will allow access to the facilities for training should any coaches decide they want to train their team.

Stay in touch, stay safe and come play next season!

Training Is Back!

Our women commenced training two weeks ago. This Saturday, June 27, our men will be training from 1pm with our women taking to the field at 2pm. We strongly encourage every player to come down and join us for a throw. While you’re at it, you can have a look at the progress on the ground works that the council is providing for our home ground.

There are plenty of guidelines and safeguards in place to protect participating players. Sanitizer will be provided by the club but please make sure you bring your own equipment and drink bottles, the canteen will not be open at this stage. If you intend to come to the club, please head over to the BV site and register for the return to activity. This is a free registration and it must be done so that we can report attendance and conduct contact tracing.

A Return To Baseball

Hello Dodgers World,

As some of you would be aware, Baseball Victoria have given the green light to return to training from Monday 25 May. Training will have a different look to it as we continue to fight the virus. Currently, we are awaiting the council’s approval to access the pavilion again. We will continue to keep you all updated on the training and pending season. In the meantime, please head over to the BV site and register for the return to training. This is a free registration but will be required before you are allowed to train. Also please contact our secretary Jordan Russell via the links  email or phone to let him know you are playing or for more information.

See you on the diamond soon!
